Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room FT Nights

Atrium Health Mercy features a dynamic and collaborative Operating Room environment with 16 operating rooms and 3 procedure rooms. The team completes approximately 55–65 cases per day, offering exposure to total joints, orthopedic trauma, sports medicine, foot & ankle, hand surgery, endovascular procedures, spine (neuro and ortho), urology, general surgery, and robotics. Schedule: 7p - 7a, 3 nights per week (36 hours per week), with 40 hours per week listed for full-time status. No call required for this shift. Responsibilities

Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures; Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication; Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing; Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

At least one year of previous Operating Room experience (strongly preferred)
