Registered Nurse (RN) Progressive Care

Atrium Health Cleveland Progressive Care Units consists of 64 beds (32 per unit) serving cardiac, medical and surgical patients. The unit is fast-paced and requires strong critical thinking abilities, organization and prioritization, as well as thorough assessment skills. The PCU nurse partners with cardiologists/hospitalist team and other disciplines to manage titratable cardiac drips, bi-pap, post-op, post ICU patients. All patients wear telemetry monitors which are monitored through the telemetry station 24/7.

Responsibilities

Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures; Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing; Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Nice to have
