Rehabilitation Consultant (Rehabilitation Counsellor / Psychologist)

Responsibilities

Develop and nurture relationships with employers seeking return to work support for their organisation; Case management for injured workers who are needing physical and/or psychological support to return them back to employment; Establish key relationships with health professionals and work within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehab to healing; Perform a variety of assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise; Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, including the injured employee, employer, medical specialists and other allied health professionals to develop, implement and monitor rehabilitation plans

Requirements

Current unrestricted (or eligibility for) registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA or ASORC); Occupational Rehabilitation experience; Strong clinical reasoning; Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal; Passion to help people rehabilitate; Demonstrated ability to work autonomously

Nice to have

Tertiary qualifications in Psychology (Provisional); Rehabilitation Counselling; Occupational Therapy; Physiotherapy; Exercise Physiology; Social Work; Nursing
