Retail Associate & Tour Guide - Park Distillery Restaurant & Bar

Park is a backcountry lodge inspired craft distillery in the heart of Downtown Banff. Our menu features campfire-inspired cuisine & wood-fired rotisserie specialties served alongside our award-winning spirits. We are the ONLY distillery located in a Canadian National Park. Our spirits are like no other in the world, because there is no other place in the world like Banff. Retail employees are the first point of contact between guests and potential customers who walk through the door. We are looking for a friendly, outgoing individual with a passion for craft spirits who can provide information about our merchandise and spirits while leaving a lasting impression of the purity and unique qualities of our handmade products. This role also includes representing Park Distillery at the Banff Christmas Market. Tour guides host distillery tours and other experiences, including spirit tastings. This involves being knowledgeable about our world-class craft spirits and the distilling process. We are looking for an approachable, outgoing individual to provide guests with a fun and interactive experience.

Responsibilities

Be the first point of contact between guests and potential customers; Provide information about merchandise and spirits; Represent Park Distillery at the Banff Christmas Market; Engage with visitors and share product knowledge; Host distillery tours and other experiences, including spirit tastings; Be knowledgeable about craft spirits and the distilling process; Provide guests with a fun and interactive experience

Requirements

Wonderful customer service skills to create amazing tour experiences; Confidence when talking in a group; Strong work ethic; Passion for craft spirits; Quick learner with a positive attitude; Experience in retail and cash handling; Ability to work as part of a team and individually; Strong problem-solving skills; Flexible schedule; ProServe Certification; Knowledgeable about world-class craft spirits and the distilling process; Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada
