Retail Manager | 2:1 | FIFO | Brisbane, QLD

Sodexo, a global leader in food services and facilities management, is recruiting a Retail Manager to join its growing team. With over 30 years of experience serving the Energy & Resources sector across Australia, Sodexo is expanding its National Retail portfolio. The Retail Manager will manage operations profitably, in accordance with Sodexo standards and procedures, including safety, sales, customer service, stock control, cash management, staff deployment and KPI reporting.

Responsibilities

Manage operations profitably within ethical conduct and standards including safety, sales, customer service, stock control, cash management, staff deployment and KPI reporting; Lead the creation of eye-catching and effective merchandise displays to elevate the customer experience; Oversee compliance with company policies, procedures, and all relevant regulations; Manage customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring a high level of customer service; Collaborate with regional management to execute company-wide initiatives and promotions; Implement retail standards that reflect local market conditions and ensure pricing accuracy; Ensure timely deliveries and compliance with legislation at all sites; Integrate with on-site teams, providing support for pre-start and toolbox meetings; Maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize shrinkage

Requirements

3-5 years of proven retail management experience, ideally in FMCG at store management level; Strong ability to work autonomously with resilience and resourcefulness; Exceptional business relationship-building skills and the ability to inspire and motivate teams; Excellent verbal and written communication abilities; Demonstrated track record of delivering growth and improving store performance; Analytical thinking with strong problem-solving skills; Up-to-date knowledge of retail industry trends and best practices; Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office Suite; Flexibility to work variable hours, including regular remote site travel
