Rigger

Riggers to join Freo Group, an established Australian crane and lifting business, on major projects spanning Australia and Tier 1 customers across Mining, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure and Renewables. Safety comes first.

Responsibilities

Supporting safe, efficient crane and lifting operations across major projects; Carrying out rigging activities within your qualifications, competencies and experience; Working alongside crane operators and your crew to prepare and execute lifts; Following lift plans, site procedures and established safety requirements; Completing pre-start checks and taking care of equipment; Looking out for your crew, speaking up when something isn't right and making sure everyone gets home safely

Requirements

A current RI, RA or RB High Risk Work Licence; At least six months' relevant rigging experience; A strong commitment to safety, with no shortcuts and no compromises; The ability to follow lift plans, communicate clearly and work as part of a team; A reliable, hands-on approach and pride in the quality of your work

Nice to have

Current MC or HR driver's licence
