Safety / EHS Engineer – Substation – UAE

We are hiring experienced Safety / EHS Engineers for Substation projects in UAE . Candidates must have a strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations in the construction and electrical infrastructure industry.

Job Title: Safety / EHS Engineer

Location: UAE(On Site)

Industry: Substation Projects

Experience Required: 5 to 10 Years

Joining: Within 30 to 60 Days (Immediate Joiners Preferred)

Certification: NEBOSH Certified (Mandatory)

Responsibilities

Conduct HSE inductions and awareness sessions for all site personnel; Develop, implement, and monitor HSE and welfare plans; Perform routine site inspections and lead incident investigations; Ensure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW), Work Method Statements (WMS), and risk assessments; Promote a safety-first culture and ensure all works are carried out in line with company HSE policies; Provide reports and documentation related to safety performance and site compliance

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical); NEBOSH Certification – Mandatory; 5 to 10 years of proven experience in EHS roles; Experience in Substation Projects(Above 220kv); Valid passport with a minimum of 9 months validity; Good communication skills in English (spoken and written)
