Sales Manager - Japan

Right now, we are looking to strengthen our APAC Sales team with a Sales Manager - Japan. The primary responsibility of this role is to support and boost sales operations in Japan.

Responsibilities

Drive the sell-in to customers; develop and execute customer sales plans and forecasts; ensure customers get brand plans, sales materials, and support on time; coordinate activities online and in-store to grow sales; implement global channel strategy and manage local consumer plans; plan and manage budgets and costs; drive the sell-out of customers; monitor market change and business development; work with offline distributors to understand needs; plan and execute sales driving marketing campaigns; identify and develop new business opportunities; build relationships with decision makers from key accounts in Japanese CE retail; take local lead for brand representation in offline retail; collaborate with local distributor and channel manager; coordinate internal resources; share feedback with internal teams on local trends and market data from Japan

Requirements

At least 5 years of work experience related to sales and/or account management, preferably within the consumer electronics field, especially within the audio category; prior experience working with the major CE retailers and lifestyle stores; prior experience working with global brands in Japan; native or working proficiency in both English and Japanese; self-driven go-getter; humble and reliable team player; able to juggle multiple tasks at very short notice; entrepreneurial mindset
