Sales/Revenue Operations Specialist

This role is working remotely while based in Penang.

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Sales/Revenue Operations Specialist to join the global tech events team on a 7-month fixed-term contract . In this role, you will be instrumental in managing contract and data accuracy, maintaining inventory systems, and ensuring seamless billing and invoicing processes. You will serve as a critical liaison between sales and support teams, coordinating across multiple departments to drive operational excellence and revenue accuracy.

Contract & Data Management

- Manage contracts and ensure data accuracy throughout the contract process and entries into business systems
- Conduct audits and reconcile data disparities across systems
- Enforce best practices and data standardization

Inventory & Product Tracking

- Maintain sponsorship product inventory tracking documents
- Maintain booth holds/rents via Floorplan.Live
- Maintain Sales Inventory documentation and Internal Product delivery Database

Billing & Invoicing

- Ensure invoices are issued based on validated data to avoid discrepancies and reduce the need for credit notes
- Perform quality control on client billing and invoicing
- Serve as the main point of contact for sales on billing and invoicing matters

Sales Support & Coordination

- Monitor and respond to internal and sales organization requests
- Support the sales organization with the contract process and client-related requests
- Act as the liaison between sales team and support teams for delivery preparation

Organizational & Analytical Abilities

- Highly organized with a strong ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining absolute attention to detail
- Focused on the accuracy and timeliness of billing delivery and deadlines

Collaboration & Communication

- Strong influencer able to coordinate across multiple internal teams including Sales, Informa Engage, Operations, and Customer Success
- Able to communicate conceptual solutions to peers and management effectively

Requirements

Demonstrable experience within a quality control environment, focusing on accuracy of data, delivery, reporting, and reconciliation of sold programs; Salesforce experience and excel proficiency are preferred.
