The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are as listed below, but not limited to these:

Responsibilities

Report for duty as scheduled and attend pre- and post-shift briefings.; Oversee daily operations of the Hotel Security Control Room.; Monitor CCTV and security systems, promptly report irregularities.; Manage access points and ensure only authorized entries.; Conduct regular patrols of guest floors, public areas, and back-of-house.; Respond promptly to all security, safety, and medical emergencies.; Handle incident reporting, preliminary investigations, and documentation in line with SOPs.; Manage lost & found items, key control, and visitor/contractor passes.; Provide crowd control, lift management, and VIP escort duties as required.; Assist in training and guiding security officers on SOPs and hotel policies.; Ensure all security systems and equipment are operational, report faults promptly.; Liaise with management, vendors, and local authorities on security issues.; Perform other duties assigned by the Security Manager

Requirements

At least 2–3 years' security experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel; Proven experience in administering persons in lifesaving or property protection situations; Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, firefighting, and crowd control; Minimum Chief Security Officer Certification as required by local authorities; Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) Certificate; Proficiency with hotel security systems and strong computer, report writing, communication, investigation, and questioning skills
