Self Employed Support Worker

Support Worker required to support a young male client aged 32 years old who live the Harwood area of Barnard Castle. We are hoping to find a live in support worker but please contact to discuss if you are interested in providing support without the live in element. Hours per week can be discussed and agreed with employer, wage is £16 per hour and sleep in rate of £70 will be paid for 9 hour sleeping. We are looking for someone who is keen to be involved in a young male with an exciting lifestyle who partakes in many exciting and adventurous activities.

Responsibilities

Supporting client with outdoor and energetic activities such as bike riding, long walks, swimming, and various water sports including wind surfing; Personal care; Behaviour management; Social needs; Paperwork and day-to-day lifestyle needs; Meal preparation; Domestic care; Social and leisure activities; Support to remain independent; Transportation using client's vehicle; Travelling to other parts of the UK and other countries

Requirements

Full UK driving license; Self-employed status; Valid self-employed carers insurance; Enhanced DBS check

Nice to have

Experience; Valid passport; Willingness to travel within the UK and other countries; Live-in availability; Keenness to participate in adventurous/outdoor activities
