Senior Accountant

The primary purpose of this position is to assist in the development and implementation of financial management strategies throughout all functions of the company, as well as ensure compliance with financial requirements and principles. In addition, this role will assist in the coordination of the monthly financial close, all Energy Hydraulic audits, financial analysis of acquisition opportunities, and the annual budget process.

Responsibilities

Perform closing activities, including reconciliations, accruals and journal entries; Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP; Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings; Maintain and oversee general ledger accounts, ensuring proper documentation and reporting; Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable; Collaborate with leadership teams to support business operations and decision-making; Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations; Assist with sales tax reporting; Implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Minimum of 5 years’ accounting experience; Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls; Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills; Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines; Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders
