Senior Atlassian Consultant

We are seeking a Senior Atlassian Consultant to join our team at N26. This role is designed for an Atlassian technical expert who thrives in a high-growth, evolving FinTech landscape. You won't just be managing tools; you will be optimizing the way our entire organization collaborates. We are looking for a professional who enjoys conceptual ownership and values first-principles thinking—the ability to take high-level business goals and translate them into elegant, scalable technical architectures.

Responsibilities

Translate Vision into Reality: Act as a key partner to stakeholders, taking broad business objectives and refining them into sophisticated, high-impact technical solutions within the Atlassian suite; Drive Independent Project Life-Cycles: Lead initiatives from discovery and requirements gathering through to design, build, and global rollout; Continuous Ecosystem Evolution: Proactively identify opportunities to modernize our setup and independently detect friction points to enhance organizational velocity; Engineer Advanced Customizations: Extend the standard capabilities of Jira and Confluence through custom scripting (Scriptrunner/Groovy) and high-level use of Atlassian APIs; Architect Versatile Workflows: Design and implement custom Jira configurations that are robust enough for a regulated bank but flexible enough for an agile tech company; Data-Driven Storytelling: Utilize advanced reporting and analytics to provide leadership with clear visibility into operational health and project progress; Technical Mentorship: Act as a subject matter expert, coaching teams on best practices and ensuring internal documentation is a gold standard resource

Requirements

5+ years (minimum 3+) of hands-on experience in Jira, JSM, and Confluence administration within enterprise environments; Comfortable working from high-level briefs and enjoying the process of discovery; Deep proficiency in JQL, Automations, Atlassian APIs, Assets and Scriptrunner (Groovy); Ability to navigate conversations with both technical and non-technical stakeholders; Fluent English is a must; Deep expertise in Jira administration, workflow customization, stakeholder management, and best practices for scalable implementation across diverse teams

Nice to have

Experience in a regulated environment is a strong plus; Familiarity with Atlassian Analytics or the Forge framework; Knowledge about ITIL/ITSM; Knowledge of product and software development lifecycle; Coaching skills
