Responsibilities

Build and maintain real-time streaming services that support many concurrent users and connections.; Design and improve high-throughput, event-driven backend systems.; Develop distributed systems for reliable market data and trading platform infrastructure.

Requirements

At least 8 years of backend engineering experience and strong software fundamentals.; Proficiency in Java or Kotlin, with experience building real-time streaming backends and high-throughput event-driven systems.; Experience with distributed systems.; Python experience is useful, TypeScript and React experience is relevant for full-stack work.; Experience with financial markets, trading, crypto, stocks, fintech, market data, or trading venues is a plus.; Experience in a venture-backed fintech startup environment is also useful.
