Senior Baker

We are looking for an experienced Baker to join the team at Science Museum London. Our catering outlets are open 7 days a week to serve our customers freshly made lunches such as sandwiches, pizzas, salads and cakes as well as events and afternoon tea.

Responsibilities

Reporting directly with the Head Chef and manage the baking section of the kitchen; Working with the Head Chef and Group Executive Chef to develop maintain and new menu ideas; Ensuring the food quality is at its highest standard at all times; Ensure the performance of the baking team is of the highest standard by motivating and leading by example; Overseeing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control in conjunction with the Head Chef; Ensure all food safety and health and safety procedures are maintained to the highest standard

Requirements

Experience within a high volume kitchens; Strong communication and leadership skills
