Senior Banking & Finance Lawyer

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a senior Banking & Finance lawyer to join the Auckland office of one of New Zealand’s pre-eminent commercial firms. This team is widely recognised as a leader in the market, advising major domestic and international corporates, sponsors, and financial institutions on a broad mix of work—ranging from acquisition and leveraged finance to structured lending, securitisation, project and infrastructure finance, debt capital markets, and debt restructuring. Clients include top-tier investment banks, non-bank lenders, and high-profile multinationals across diverse sectors. Responsibilities

Requirements

7+ years PQE; significant experience in transactional banking and finance matters; ideally gained at a top-tier firm in New Zealand, the UK, or Asia; existing ties to New Zealand preferred
