Senior Brand Manager

Reporting into the Marketing Manager, the Senior Brand Manager will lead communications and brand-building across a portfolio of two established consumer brands for a leading UK FMCG business, owning consumer insight, strategic planning, integrated campaigns, agency management and innovation projects. The role combines creativity with commercial thinking, partnering with Digital, Shopper, Category, Commercial and Sales teams. The business is investing in its brands and is looking for someone to shape their future rather than maintain the status quo.

Responsibilities

Developing consumer-led brand strategies and integrated communications plans; Leading creative, media and PR agencies to deliver standout campaigns; Driving consumer insight, research and brand performance evaluation; Managing significant marketing budgets and demonstrating ROI; Leading innovation and NPD projects from concept to launch; Working cross-functionally with Commercial, Shopper, Digital, Category and Sales teams to deliver sustainable growth; Challenging existing ways of working and helping shape the future direction of the brands

Requirements

FMCG brand marketing experience (food or drink preferred); Strong experience in brand strategy, communications and consumer insight; Agency management experience across creative and media; A commercially minded approach, with a good understanding of pricing, promotions and marketing ROI; Experience delivering innovation or NPD projects; Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence across multiple functions
