Senior Content Marketing Manager (d/f/m) - German-speaking

Germany is one of our most important markets, and one of our biggest content opportunities. We're looking for a Senior Content Marketing Manager who writes and thinks in German as naturally as they think in strategy: someone who can build a high-quality content engine for the German market, adapt Leapsome's global narrative to resonate locally, and drive our editorial presence with skill and ambition. This role sits at the intersection of content excellence and regional ownership. You'll lead editorial work for the German market, shape how we show up in German-speaking audiences' feeds, inboxes, and search results, and collaborate closely with global teams to bring localized programs to life.

Responsibilities

Lead editorial for the German market; own content planning, briefs, reviews, and publishing for German-language content; manage the full editorial process from ideation to distribution; tell Leapsome's story in German by creating and adapting content across articles, landing pages, email sequences, social copy, webinar scripts, and product messaging; build a scalable, data-informed content engine; define strategy, cadence, and structure to grow content quality alongside volume; develop workflows, templates, and briefs; own SEO and AEO for the German market; lead initiatives to grow organic presence in German-speaking markets; combine technical SEO best practices with understanding of how AI and search are evolving; identify opportunities to scale visibility without sacrificing quality; champion AI for localization; drive use of AI tools and workflows to accelerate localization, content production, and experimentation; test, document, and refine AI use cases; support broader German market initiatives; collaborate with global demand gen, product marketing, and campaign teams; contribute to localized campaigns that drive awareness and pipeline in Germany

Requirements

5+ years of experience in German content marketing; track record of driving results across awareness, engagement, and acquisition; native-level fluency or bilingual proficiency in German; excellent editorial instincts and strong command of copy across formats; English strong enough for confident internal collaboration; fluent in content strategy and SEO; curious about how AI is reshaping content creation and discovery; actively evolves approach as the landscape changes; analytical and creative in equal measure; makes decisions with data; trusts editorial instincts and audience understanding; genuinely interested in how workplaces change; resilient, proactive, adaptable; brings energy and optimism; stays curious in the face of ambiguity; thrives in fast-moving environments
