Senior Electrical Engineer

This position will report to a Principal or designee level staff member. Job responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

Responsibilities

Ability to lead project team(s) and execute projects on time, within budget, and with a high degree of quality.; Interface with clients as required to meet project goals and deadlines.; Have technical capability to mentor team members in the execution of their duties.; Work activities will include; Forensic investigation of equipment failures.; Design and analyze equipment and systems in power plants and buildings.; Design instrument test loops to evaluate component failure cause.; Instrumentation, data acquisition and analysis of equipment and structures.; Evaluate materials and composition of electrical components and systems for application suitability.; Write technical reports without supervision.; Can-do attitude, self-motivated and able to perform requirements with minimal guidance; Must be willing to work at and able to be badged at commercial nuclear facilities.; Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager

Requirements

Minimum bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.; 8+ years’ experience.; Possess EIT certification. Licensed professional engineer preferred.; Strong written and verbal communications skills, with efficient use of Microsoft products.; Ability to pass background and drug screenings to obtain security clearances at a commercial nuclear plant.; Ability to travel to customer or project sites, which may include weekends.
