Senior Electrical Quality Inspector III

Responsibilities

Perform detailed receiving, in-process, and final inspections on PCBA, harnessing, and assemblies to IPC Class 3; Review and verify supplier end item data packages including Certificates of Conformance (CoCs), as built BOMs, electrical test reports, and X-rays; Identify and document non conformances, segregate suspect material, and initiate supplier corrective action requests (SCARs); Maintain accurate inspection records and ensure traceability of materials according to AS9100 and customer requirements; Work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to resolve discrepancies prior to qualification and customer submission; Support internal and external audits; Work in manufacturing computer system to record inspections, move parts through inspection queues, and generate nonconformance report requests; Implement and maintain a calibrated tool system and process

Requirements

6+ years of experience in a regulated industry (aerospace, robotics, medical device, automotive, or equivalent); IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620 board inspection certification required; Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items over 40 lbs; To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Capella Employees must be a U.S. citizen, lawful U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce, as applicable.

Nice to have

IPC-A-600 preferred; experience with automated optical inspection & x-ray machines; Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems); ASQ certifications are a plus; Prior experience with aerospace inspection processes and standards
