Responsibilities

Effectively lead and manage activities and people on transportation civil engineering projects as well as manage project budgets.; Assure that designs are in accordance with federal, city and DOT specifications.; Prepare or oversee detailed engineering analyses, schedules, technical reports, etc.; Create and foster a project team culture of superior service for the customer.; Interact with clients, regulatory agencies, and the public as necessary for project completion. In addition, work on business development activities.

Requirements

Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering; Professional Engineer license in the applicable state you work or the ability to obtain license within 6 months.; 8+ years of experience in the design and construction of state DOT and county highway projects preferred.; Excellent leadership and project management skills.; Working knowledge of project team roles and responsibilities.; Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local codes.; Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with groups both internally and externally.
