Senior Medical Science Liaison II

This function will serve as a field based medical expert and will be responsible for building/strengthening collaborative relationships in support of Replimune clinical development initiatives. This will be fulfilled mainly through the development of excellent working relationships with key opinion leaders, clinical sites, and internal stakeholders. Additional responsibilities include collection and internal dissemination of competitive intelligence, supporting portfolio expansion, and driving key pre-launch, launch, and post-marketing initiatives. This is a field-based position.

Responsibilities

Identify key national and regional oncology thought leaders and priority customers; Build and maintain advocacy; Function as primary scientific contact; Participate in collection and exchange of scientific/technical information; Assist in management of relationships between key opinion leaders and corporate product teams; Accumulate key competitive information; Identify, initiate, coordinate, evaluate and monitor investigator-sponsored studies; Help develop and manage publication plans; Assist in identification, evaluation and engagement of potential investigators; Assist clinical trials team in ongoing support and communication with investigators; Educate priority customers on research and development projects; Develop key advocates as speakers; Assist in development of and participate in regional advisory boards and medical education programs; Contribute scientific and clinical expertise to commercial educational activities; Provide clinical resources for sales training and marketing efforts; Represent Replimune at major oncology meetings and conferences; Maintain clinical and technical expertise in oncology; Mentor for Medical Science Liaisons; Serve as role model to team members; Adhere to Replimune Code of Business Conduct & Ethics; Lead assigned projects within the MSL organization; Deliver scientific/clinical presentations; Represent MSL team on clinical/medical study teams

Requirements

Advanced degree in medical science (MD, PharmD, or PhD) strongly preferred; Candidates without advanced degree required to have at least 3 years of industry MSL experience in the therapeutic area and 8-12 years overall related experience; Minimum 3-5 years previous MSL experience in the therapeutic area required; Strong project leadership and management history required; Ability to efficiently manage time and priorities; Strong leadership skills and ability to compile and disseminate information; Solid understanding of drug development and life-cycle development; Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with thought leaders; Excellent communicator, skilled at diplomacy; Ability to understand and translate external customer and/or internal client needs into effective decisions; Willingness to travel extensively

Nice to have

Patient care clinical experience in the therapeutic area (including sub-specialty); Leadership experience (with direct reports or as an individual contributor); Advanced degree in medical science (MD, PharmD, or PhD)
