Senior Product Manager- Voice AI for Operators

The Protect team at Hiya builds products at the intersection of voice, telephony, and artificial intelligence. Our work spans both audio intelligence (e.g., deepfake detection, fraud intent detection, etc.) and conversational AI, specifically on voice AI agents that enhance protection and productivity for consumers in their mobile devices. As a Senior Product Manager, you will have a key role in the team by leading one (or multiple) of these products. The core of this role is not aimed at managing a backlog, running sprint plannings and standups and writing PRDs. This is a role that needs to be close to customers, transform uncertainty into clarity, build a product vision and execute it. You will own the product end-to-end.

Responsibilities

Talk a lot to customers (telecom operators) and understand what they want and why; form a product vision to solve customers and users problems; prioritize ruthlessly and say no; work closely with Engineering team to execute vision, set priorities, and prototype ideas; work with Research team to prioritize model training roadmap; work with Revenue team to uncover customer needs, price products, and support customer-facing meetings and events; work with Legal team to understand how regulation shapes product; work with Finance team on product economics, business cases, and investment decisions; own the product end-to-end

Requirements

At least one of the following experiences: product management at a venture-backed startup; founder or early employee in a startup close to the product; management consultant (MBB) and can prove tech is not new; technical background by education or professionally; strong sense of urgency; comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty; embrace autonomy; very curious and like to understand how things work; way of working includes AI at its core; close to tech and AI ecosystem; excellent written and spoken communication skills; able to structure thoughts clearly

Nice to have

Experience with AI or voice AI either at the model, orchestration or application layer; launched successful products before as PM; can show something you have built yourself without an engineer; done something out of the normal in your life that shaped you to be who you are today
