Senior Project Manager Construction Consultancy

A specialist construction consultancy in London is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their growing residential team. This is a strong opportunity for a Senior Project Manager, or an experienced Project Manager ready to step up, to lead major residential schemes from day one. The Senior Project Manager will be working on large-scale residential projects, including housing association developments and build to rent schemes, typically ranging from 150 to 400 units.

Responsibilities

Lead residential projects across London, including housing association, build to rent, and wider residential development schemes; Manage projects through pre-contract and post-contract stages, including client reporting, programme management, consultant coordination, contractor management, risk tracking, procurement support, and contract administration; Chair project meetings; Manage stakeholder expectations; Support junior team members where required; Ensure projects are delivered to a high standard

Requirements

Prior experience working within a construction consultancy environment; Strong residential project experience, ideally including housing association or build to rent schemes; Experience delivering large residential developments, ideally from 150 to 400 units; Ability to lead projects independently from day one; Pre-contract and post-contract project delivery experience; Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or similar construction-related subject; Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and residential project delivery; Excellent client-facing, communication, and leadership skills; A proactive, committed, and confident approach to project management
