Senior Project Manager Construction Consultancy

A growing construction consultancy in London is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join its established residential team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Manager who can lead projects immediately and take full ownership of large-scale residential developments across London. The Senior Project Manager will deliver housing association and build-to-rent schemes ranging from approximately 150 to 400 units, covering both pre-contract and post-contract stages. This Senior Project Manager role would suit a confident Senior Project Manager with strong residential experience, excellent client-facing skills, and the ability to manage projects with minimal supervision. The successful Senior Project Manager will join a supportive team with a strong pipeline of residential work and genuine opportunities for further progression.

Responsibilities

Lead residential projects from inception through to completion; Work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, housing associations, developers, and wider project stakeholders; Be responsible for programme management, procurement, consultant coordination, contract administration, risk management, project reporting, stakeholder engagement, and overall project delivery; Chair project meetings; Manage multidisciplinary teams; Monitor project performance; Ensure schemes are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard

Requirements

Prior experience working within a construction consultancy environment; Strong residential project experience; Experience delivering housing association and/or build-to-rent projects; Experience working on schemes of approximately 150 to 400 units; Strong pre-contract and post-contract delivery experience; The ability to lead projects independently from day one; A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or a related discipline; Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and residential project delivery; Excellent client-facing, communication, and leadership skills; A proactive, organised, and commercially aware approach
