Senior Project Manager (m/w/d) Project & Development Services - Data Center

JLL is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Project Manager (m/w/d) Project & Development Services - Data Center. The qualified candidate will oversee a wide variety of colocation and hyperscale data center projects from feasibility studies, site due diligence, campus planning, conceptual/schematic/detailed design through construction documents, and construction administration. The ideal candidate has experience managing in all aspects of the project management of colocation and hyperscale data centers as part project lead or project manager for min. 3 to 5 years, has a background in civil engineering or electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering, and possesses exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and German. Willingness to travel is a basic requirement.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage project delivery with full responsibility for timely, high-quality performance; Develop Project Structure Plans (PSP), RACI matrices, and Project Execution Plans (PEP) in coordination with clients; Manage risk mitigation, cost control, and change management processes; Oversee timely submission of design documents across all project phases; Develop and update procurement strategies; Review and approve HSE strategies and plans; Evaluate value engineering proposals and alternative material requests; Conduct prequalification of contractors during tender stage and provide client recommendations for contractor selection; Coordinate all construction activities to ensure adherence to project program; Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality and compliance; Review material submittals, method statements, shop drawings, and technical documentation; Monitor compliance with HSE plans and work safety standards; Oversee FIDIC Engineer in day-to-day contractor management; Design, budget, supervise installation, and commission ICT&S systems; Lead data center core and shell due diligence and design projects; Host and lead meetings with contractors, clients, and external stakeholders; Develop technical and financial proposals for new and add/move/change projects; Manage and develop the data center design team; Prepare Site Instructions, Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), and project administration documents; Analyze monthly progress reports in coordination with planning and control teams

3 to 5 years of experience managing colocation and hyperscale data center projects as project lead or project manager; background in civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering; exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and German; willingness to travel
