Senior QA Engineer – Automation

Role Overview: We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with strong skills in automation testing (primarily API) and exposure to AI-based applications. The role involves working closely with engineering teams to ensure quality across AI-driven products.

Responsibilities

Design and execute test cases for API and UI layers; Build and maintain automation frameworks (API-focused); Perform functional, regression, and integration testing; Validate AI-driven features such as chatbot responses and workflows; Work closely with developers to debug and resolve issues; Contribute to CI/CD automation pipelines; Ensure proper test data management and coverage; Participate in QA processes

Requirements

5+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA; Strong hands-on experience in API Automation (Tools: Postman, RestAssured, PyTest, etc.); Experience in UI Automation (Selenium / Playwright / Cypress); Good understanding of test case design and execution; Experience with bug tracking tools (JIRA, ADO, etc.); Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines; Strong analytical and debugging skills

Nice to have

Exposure to AI/ML or chatbot testing; Understanding of prompt-based systems and conversational flows; Basic knowledge of Python / Java; Experience with performance or security testing
