Senior Quality Engineer

As a Senior Quality Engineer, you are a technical leader with a significant track record of building quality into the engineering process rather than testing it after the fact.

Responsibilities

Building and scaling test automation, quality infrastructure, and performance testing systems; Leading the design and implementation of core automation frameworks, including migration from Cypress to Playwright, along with performance testing framework; Defining how RCA and failure triage work across teams, and personally leading RCA on failures that stump everyone else; Tackling the most challenging quality problems from automation architecture to AI-assisted testing; Driving projects from ideation to deployment and beyond; Having a high degree of autonomy to identify and pursue impactful work

Requirements

8-10+ years of experience building and scaling test automation for complex software systems; Excellent programming ability in JavaScript/TypeScript and comfortable writing and maintaining production-grade automation code; Proven track record of designing, leading, and delivering large-scale, cross-functional quality initiatives; Root-caused complex, cross-functional failures and built the triage process others rely on; Hands-on experience integrating AI into the quality workflow; Significant experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership; Thrived in multiple engineering environments and have a history of driving quality strategy and vision; Experience with Javascript / NodeJS / Typescript; Experience with Cypress, Playwright, AI agentic framework; Experience with performance testing framework (JMeter / k6); Experience with MongoDB; Experience with microservice architecture / Kubernetes; Experience with AWS / Google Cloud
