Senior Research Associate - ADME & Formulation

Responsibilities

Run assays including CYP inhibition, kinetic and thermodynamic solubility, plasma protein binding, brain tissue binding, and microsomal/hepatocyte stability per Enveda SOPs and regulatory guidelines; Conduct formulation feasibility studies and optimize formulations to support in vivo pharmacokinetic studies across multiple routes of administration; Analyze and interpret experimental data; communicate findings clearly to the DMPK team and cross-functional stakeholders; Plan, coordinate, and prioritize assay workload to meet turnaround time targets without compromising data quality; Collaborate with medicinal chemists and pharmacologists to integrate ADME data into compound prioritization strategies; Optimize and validate experimental protocols to ensure accuracy and reproducibility; Stay current with industry trends and advancements in ADME science and formulation development

Requirements

Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmaceutics, Formulation, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or a closely related field; 1–2 years of hands-on experience in DMPK or drug discovery in a research institute or pharmaceutical company; Practical experience conducting one or more in vitro ADME assays: kinetic solubility, thermodynamic solubility, plasma protein binding, brain tissue binding, CYP inhibition, microsomal and/or hepatocyte stability; Strong understanding of ADME properties, formulation science, and pharmacokinetics of small molecules

Nice to have

Hands-on experience with formulation optimization for in vivo pharmacokinetic studies
