Senior SEO Specialist

Own the technical and strategic SEO agenda for Property Finder Egypt end to end — from search and intent strategy through technical health, programmatic scale, entity and topical authority, internal-linking architecture, and outcome forecasting. This is a senior, hands-on operator who both sets direction and executes, working across content, engineering, and the regional SEO team to convert Egypt’s organic opportunity into market-leading share of clicks.

Responsibilities

Own the technical and strategic SEO agenda for Property Finder Egypt end to end — from search and intent strategy through technical health, programmatic scale, entity and topical authority, internal-linking architecture, and outcome forecasting; Work across content, engineering, and the regional SEO team to convert Egypt’s organic opportunity into market-leading share of clicks; Own the Egypt SEO scorecard (sessions, share of clicks, rankings, leads), report actions and deliverables, and forecast roadmap impact against the sessions target; Build and maintain Share-of-Clicks / Share-of-Voice tracking for Egypt as a live decision tool; Translate strategy into engineering tickets and content briefs, and drive them to ship

Requirements

4+ years leading and executing SEO, with demonstrable ownership of outcomes (not just activity) in a competitive market; Excellent English & communication: writing, speaking, and presentation skills strong enough to brief stakeholders, present results to leadership, and document strategy clearly; Managing large websites: proven experience running SEO on large, complex sites or marketplaces (tens of thousands of URLs and up), including the governance that scale demands; Programmatic SEO expertise: designing and scaling template-driven, data-fed pages (community / compound / area pages) with quality and indexation control; Log-file analysis: hands-on experience interpreting server logs to diagnose crawl behaviour, bot budget, and indexation issues; SEO tooling mastery: Screaming Frog, OnCrawl, Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), and comparable crawl / analytics platforms; NLP-based SEO: optimising for entities, semantics, and meaning — not just keywords — including how engines interpret topic and context; SEO automation: building automations with Python and/or GenAI to scale audits, content ops, internal linking, and reporting; GenAI tooling: fluent, practical use of Claude, Gemini, and OpenAI/ChatGPT within SEO workflows, with sound human-in-the-loop judgement; Deep technical SEO expertise (must-have): Rendering: SSR / pre-rendering, JavaScript SEO, and how rendering choices affect crawl and indexation; Site-speed optimisation: Core Web Vitals and performance tuning, in partnership with engineering; Internal-linking graphs: designing and analysing internal-link structures as a graph to distribute authority and surface intent; Schema / structured data: in-depth markup implementation and validation across templates; Entity-oriented SEO: building and reinforcing entity relationships that search engines recognise; Topical authority: architecting topic clusters and coverage that establish authority in target verticals; Sitemaps: XML and HTML sitemap strategy at scale; Content optimisation at scale: systematising on-page optimisation across large page sets; Internal-linking optimisation at scale: automated, rules-based internal linking across thousands of pages; Crawl-budget optimisation: controlling crawl waste, parameter handling, and index bloat; Off-page SEO: experience managing and quality-controlling off-page / backlink programmes and agency relationships; Reporting & forecasting: we are outcome-oriented — own the Egypt SEO scorecard (sessions, share of clicks, rankings, leads), report actions and deliverables, and forecast roadmap impact against the sessions target; Competitive measurement: build and maintain Share-of-Clicks / Share-of-Voice tracking for Egypt as a live decision tool; Cross-functional execution: translate strategy into engineering tickets and content briefs, and drive them to ship
