Senior Software Engineer in Test (SET / SDET)

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer in Test (SET/SDET) to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for ensuring the world-class quality of our software applications by developing automated test frameworks, scripts, and tools, creating test cases, and managing manual test processes. You will also get to work on CI/CD pipeline to improve product quality via automation. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong understanding of software quality methodologies and test automation skills who thrive in a fast-paced development environment and have a passion for delivering high-quality products.

Responsibilities

Developing automated test frameworks, scripts, and tools; creating test cases; managing manual test processes; working on CI/CD pipeline to improve product quality via automation; Ensuring product quality via automation and manual tests, managing test execution, and organizing quality tracking & reporting throughout the software development lifecycle; Evaluating product requirements, defining testing strategies, managing test plans/cases to ensure robust coverage, and identifying test automation opportunities early in the development; Improving and integrating automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous testing and faster feedback loops; Preparing and setting up test environments including data generation, validation, and the development of testing tools; Collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, QA, tech support, and customer service to ensure software meets the highest standards of quality, and streamlining the workflow with automation

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; 7+ years of experience as a SET, software engineer, test automation engineer, or QA engineer; Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.); Hands-on experience with various automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, Cypress, Jenkins, and other modern test automation frameworks; Strong knowledge of continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices and how test automation fits within DevOps pipelines; Demonstrated use of Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude) to develop new or improve workflows, enhance productivity, and drive efficiency at scale; Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Strong expertise in at least one of the following core areas: Performance and Load Testing with tools such as JMeter, Locust, or equivalent; CI/CD and DevOps Automation with Jenkins including pipeline scripting and plugin-level customization; Test Tools and Framework Development with front-end Vue/JavaScript and back-end Python with Flask/Django

Nice to have

Experience in mobile (iOS and Android) and web application testing; Strong understanding of performance and load testing
