Senior Software Engineer (Scala)

Responsibilities

Take ownership of key backend projects that have strategic impact; Design and build scalable systems using technologies like Scala, GraphQL, Redis, Postgres and Elasticsearch; Collaborate with product and engineering teams to drive technical decisions and deliver high-impact features; Lead complex initiatives from start to finish

Requirements

Experience with Scala/Java/Kotlin (willing to use Scala); Hands on experience with Elasticsearch, Kafka, Kubernetes and Docker; Experience with AWS; Experience building relevant production ready, scalable web applications; Degree in Computer Science or equivalent; Fluency in English with legal authorization to work in the EU
