Senior Solution Engineer

Working directly with sales teams and channel partners, the Senior Solution Engineer drives complex customer solutions and closes large deals. The role is the technical expert who understands customer needs, provides compelling demonstrations, and supports enterprise Proof of Concepts. Travel requirement: up to 50% travel for on-site customer engagements. On Target Earnings (OTE) range including base and commission bonus: $216,000 - $283,500 CA.

Responsibilities

Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors; Work hands-on with prospects to demonstrate value throughout the sales cycle; Maintain deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies; Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing for continuous improvement; Support enterprise Proof of Concepts and design implementations; Drive technical solutions for complex customer challenges

Requirements

7-8 years of industry experience with 5+ years in pre-sales; Outstanding presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences; Broad experience with Database, Data Warehouse, and cloud technologies; Hands-on expertise with SQL, SQL analytics, and Python; Strong ability to connect business problems with technical solutions; Advanced degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
