Senior Systems Administrator

The Arizona Humane Society is seeking a full-time Senior Systems Administrator to help power the technology that supports life-saving work for thousands of animals each year. Responsibilities

Planning, installing, upgrading, monitoring, and maintaining servers, virtualization, storage, networking, Microsoft 365, VoIP, security systems, backups, and business applications; Providing advanced technical support by troubleshooting hardware and software issues; Managing security updates and disaster recovery processes; Maintaining IT documentation and asset inventories; Supporting end users across multiple campuses; Participating in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies; Assisting with infrastructure projects and helping implement technology solutions

Requirements

Associates or Bachelor's Degree in an information technology area or equivalent experience; 5 years of systems administration and network administration experience; Advanced knowledge of Windows server and desktop operating systems; Active Directory/LDAP user and group policy administration; Managing servers' virtualization technologies like VMWare, Microsoft Hyper-V, or AZURE; Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN Routing and Switching administration, configuration, and troubleshooting; 1-2 years of Microsoft O365 administration and configuration experience; Experience with VOIP phone systems; Must possess good communication skills and can relate well with employees at all levels

Nice to have

Relevant IT certifications (e.g., Security+, Network+, CCNA, etc.); CCNA or CompTIA Network+; 1-2 years of AZURE administration experience; Windows PowerShell scripting experience
