Job Description

Elsewhere Entertainment is looking for a Senior Technical Artist to join the development of a new IP. As a member of the Technical Art department, you'll work closely with highly skilled artists, engineers, and producers to deliver an outstanding experience.

You’ll use your technical and creative skills to solve a wide range of challenges, including implementing innovative artist tooling and workflows, ensuring optimal performance on a wide range of console and PC hardware, and delivering hands-on content to support the creation of our game.

This role can be based in our Malmo or Warsaw office and follows an onsite work schedule of four days per week. Work arrangements may change at the company's discretion to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

Support and improve content creation workflows for the art team, including performance profiling, rendering, world creation, VFX, and UI systems.; Collaborate with Artists and Engineers to deliver innovative solutions that will help artists develop epic content, while keeping an eye on performance constraints.; Maintain tools, workflows, and documentation that support the technical aspects of asset production.; Inspire and mentor fellow tech artists as a role model for initiative, accountability, communication, and collaboration.

Requirements

Extensive experience in the games industry in a technical art role, including at least one shipped title in a senior capacity.; In-depth understanding of game engines, pipelines, and processes.; Understanding of at least one scripting or programming language, such as Python, JavaScript, C#, C++, MAXScript, or MEL.; In-depth knowledge of memory and performance impact from a content creation perspective.; Experience writing and/or debugging shaders.; Understanding of Physically Based Rendering concepts.; Ability to solve problems creatively, with a positive and respectful team-first attitude.; Strong organization skills and the ability to meet agreed timelines.
