Senior Technical Consultant

Valiantys is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant, who will be responsible for delivering technical projects, administering and configuring the Atlassian suite and formulating recommendations and technical solutions to address client needs and technical challenges. They are also expected to have deep technical expertise within the Atlassian space, in order to deliver best in class service to our Customers.

Responsibilities

Delivering technical projects; Administering and configuring the Atlassian suite; Formulating recommendations and technical solutions to address client needs and technical challenges; Providing deep technical expertise within the Atlassian space; Leading and guiding team of consultants in implementing technological solutions; Leading Technical Discovery; Defining and documenting technical architecture, approach, and presentation; Serving as main point of contact in designing and implementing technological solutions; Technical Work Decomposition; Designing and configuring the system; Building integrations/customizations to specifications provided by solutions team; Resolving technical issues; Ensuring system performance and feasibility; Responsible for technical delivery on projects; Analyzing and implementing customer technical needs and requirements; Writing technical and functional specifications and requirements; Installing and configuring Jira and Confluence server from scratch on a Linux platform; Creating a cloud environment and implementing per client specifications; Conducting Server/Data Center to Cloud Migrations; Implementing basic to complex Workflows; Developing specific Add-Ons as required; Providing advice and making recommendations around technical implementations; Deploying, configuring, and integrating applications according to customer needs and requirements

Requirements

Proven experience (3–6 years) in ITSM, Agile, or digital transformation consulting.; Strong proven experience (3–6 years) knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, BitBucket, Jira Align a plus).; Ability to connect technology features with business outcomes.; Excellent communication and facilitation skills, especially with mixed technical and non-technical audiences.; Experience producing solution documentation, architecture diagrams, and delivery roadmaps.; Familiarity with integrations, automation, and reporting ecosystems around Atlassian tools.; Experience in migrations of Atlassian applications.; Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada or the United States and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status.

Nice to have

Experience implementing solutions with varying technological apps such as Salesforce and/or ServiceNow; Experience in pre-sales or solution engineering in a software or services organization; Strong Knowledge of ITIL, SAFe, or Lean-Agile frameworks; Certifications such as Atlassian Accreditations, ACP, ITIL, or SAFe are a plus.
