Senior Water Treatment Specialist

Ensero Solutions is an environmental consulting and remediation business with specific expertise in environmental assessments, permitting, regulatory and compliance services, active/passive water treatment, mine water management, and turnkey remediation services for the mining industry and broader industrial sectors. As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be responsible for working within an engineering team to provide senior-level process engineering leadership, input and support for the design, construction and commissioning of water treatment, remediation and reclamation projects.

Responsibilities

Provide senior-level input and operational support for the design, construction, commissioning and optimization of water treatment systems; Provide direction and assist the performance of the water treatment, remediation and reclamation projects; Supports risk analysis with project management; Build and maintain client relationships through ongoing communication and understanding of client goals; Travel to potential and existing work sites to interface with on-site staff, vendors, customers, and regulatory personnel; Provide technical input to projects within your area(s) of expertise; Develop and update documentation including operational manuals, drawings and site-specific information for the safety, operations, and maintenance of the site; Monitor and promote system environmental health and worker safety compliance; Identify and recommend improvements to operations to ensure assigned functions are efficient and cost effective; Take proper safety precautions, anticipate unsafe circumstances, and act accordingly to prevent accidents; Interface with other technical experts to achieve multidisciplinary project goals; Mentor and provide technical training to junior team members and operators; All other duties as required

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in chemical, process, or environmental engineering; Professional Engineering designation required; 7+ years of previous experience working water treatment and consulting; Previous experience in industrial wastewater projects; Ability to work effectively with team members as well as lead independent projects; Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other business software; Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work independently or as part of a team; Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels
