Shift Operator

Responsibilities

Provide operational support services and sometimes act as first-line supervisor of a transactional operations area. Involves using existing systems and protocols; Operate complex systems, adjusting processes to optimize quality and productivity. Also responsible for carrying out new product trails and for generating solutions to complex inefficiencies; Contribute data and information to production plans. Run reports, check accuracy, and distribute information; Supervise a team performing routine work; Help to install complex systems and conduct inspections of equipment with guidance; Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment for emergency repairs and carry out preventive maintenance routines.

Requirements

Japanese language level (Business); High School / FE College (2 A Levels); Sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems; Basic experience of coordinating the work of others; Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to develop appropriate plans or perform necessary actions based on recommendations and requirements; Uses clear and effective verbal communications skills without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on expressing ideas, requesting actions and formulating plans or policies; Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on planning, organizing, prioritizing and overseeing activities to efficiently meet business objectives; Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to review and create relevant, lucid and effective reports; Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on developing, monitoring, interpreting and understanding policies and procedures, while making sure they match organizational strategies and objectives; Manages and applies safe systems of work without supervision and provides technical guidance when required; Identifies, assesses, prioritizes and manages risks in a production process without supervision and provides technical guidance when required.
