Site Manager, DashMart

DashMart is a local-fulfillment center owned and operated by DoorDash, offering customers household essentials and other items to their doorsteps with speed, reliability, and quality. In this role, you'll manage a 5-15k sq ft distribution center, the local warehouse operating team, and be responsible for ensuring high quality for customers.

Responsibilities

Manage a 5-15k sq ft distribution center and the local warehouse operating team; Recruit, lead, coach and retain a high-performing team of Shift Leads (3+) and Operations Associates (6+); Build a strong, positive culture and drive employee satisfaction scores; Delegate daily tasks with Shift Leads to ensure high team performance; Own day-to-day operations of the DashMart warehouse, including food preparation in a light-prep kitchen in some locations; Own scheduling and manage a labor budget; Ensure the warehouse meets site-level metric goals; Maintain key quality metrics including order accuracy and fulfillment speed; Work cross-functionally with inventory and training teams; Use data to identify pain points and inefficiencies; Design, build and execute process improvement projects

Requirements

3+ years of team leadership experience in high-volume operations (retail, grocery, hospitality, fulfillment, logistics or operations) with a track record of developing people and delivering results; Proven leadership of high-performance teams of 10+ employees; Acts like an owner and supports a 24/7 business across multiple shifts; Solves problems from first principles and resists 'this is how it's always been done' thinking; Comfortable with ambiguity and thrives in fast-changing startup environments; Analytical and data-first, with experience using Excel or Google Sheets, including basic formulas and pivot tables; College degree or relevant professional work experience; Flexibility in schedule, including late-night and weekend availability
