Software Engineer Intern (Winter 2027)

Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together. This internship will take place from January 25 - April 16 and requires working out of the NY or SF office. What you'll achieve: Write clean, secure, tested, and documented code; Design & enhance the Notion product with new capabilities with an AI first mindset; Develop, fix and debug software across the full stack.

Requirements

Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or another related field; Must graduate before December 2027; Available for internship from January 25 to April 16; Able to work out of the NY or SF office during this time; Previous internship experience; Working towards proficiency in one or more programming languages such as TypeScript, Node.js, or Python; Finds large challenges exciting and enjoys discovering problems as much as solving them; Able to problem-solve and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; Thoughtful problem-solving; Puts users first; Not ideological about technology; Empathetic communication; Team player; AI enthusiast

Nice to have

Expertise with specific technologies including TypeScript, React, Python; Familiarity with computing pioneers like Ada Lovelace, Douglas Engelbart, Alan Kay; Interests outside technology such as art, history, or social sciences
