Software Engineer - Typescript/React Fullstack

At Objective, we create software that makes a difference. Our solutions help governments deliver better services and support stronger communities across Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join our Planning & Building Solutions team and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our platform into a modern, AWS-hosted SaaS solution.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and test new product features; Build and maintain scalable systems, APIs and web applications; Refactor legacy code to improve performance and maintainability; Troubleshoot product and customer issues; Write clean, reliable and well-tested code; Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices; Collaborate with developers, testers, product owners and technical writers; Help improve our development, testing and delivery processes

Requirements

At least three years’ experience in full-stack software development; Strong experience with Typescript; Experience with React, Angular or other modern JavaScript framework; Experience with SQL Server, relational databases and RESTful APIs; Exposure to AWS or another cloud platform; Experience with Git, CI/CD and automated testing; A practical understanding of scalable and maintainable software design; Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
