Speech Language Pathologist - Outpatient, Atrium Health Rehab Cleveland, Full-Time Days

Supporting adult and pediatric patients. This position is eligible for a clinical fellowship. Provides patient evaluation and care planning for speech-language pathology. Delivers patient care appropriate to age specific and other population needs. Provides clinical leadership.

Responsibilities

Supporting adult and pediatric patients; Providing patient evaluation and care planning for speech-language pathology; Delivering patient care appropriate to age specific and other population needs; Providing clinical leadership; Assessing and documenting patient's medical, mental and emotional needs; Developing and implementing a plan of care to meet patient and family needs; Acting as patient advocate; Implementing plan of care in a safe and timely manner; Demonstrating clinical reasoning and skills; Evaluating effectiveness of therapy interventions; Communicating patient information and documenting therapist's actions and plan of care; Providing clinical leadership and mentoring

Requirements

Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology; Applicable state license for Speech Language Pathology; BLS required per policy guidelines; Hearing (corrected) adequate for oral/aural communication; Vision (corrected) adequate for reading; Intelligible speech and adequate language/cognitive skills; Ability to lift patients, equipment, or supplies up to 20 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
