Responsibilities

Help children achieve their development milestones such as communicating their wants and needs to help them participate in everyday activities; Educate and involve parents, carers and others around the child to support the communication and language development of the child; Support children to speak with clear and correct pronunciation so that others can understand them; Treat stuttering and articulation disorders to speak fluently and confidently; Address literacy, reading and writing difficulties, in conjunction with teachers and schools; Teach children the skills to manage a wide range of food and drinks safely

Requirements

A degree in Speech Pathology; Eligibility for SPA registration upon graduating; Graduated in the last 12 months or graduating in early 2026; A full valid driver's license, with access to your own vehicle with third party insurance; A valid Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain; A clear current Police Check, or be willing to obtain; NDIS Workers Screening Clearance, or be willing to obtain; First Aid and CPR certification, or be willing to obtain; Excellent communication and time management skills, and attention to detail
