Attend pre-bid meetings, track contracts, and obtain quotes from electrical suppliers -Take-offs, proposals, back-up figures, and price lists -Projects include commercial, industrial, and institutional -Benefits: $500/month car allowance, medical, vision, dental, 401K, life, & day care

-5+ years of electrical estimating experience -Design/build experience required -Computerized estimating experience

Requirements

7+ years of experience in the electrical industry; Design-build experience is highly desirable; Superior skills in computer estimating/spreadsheet programs and a proven background with RFIs, cost estimates, hard bids, negotiating, material take-offs, and reading blue prints; Must have the ability to layout branch circuiting; Read/understand contract docs and drawings/specs; Have an understanding of general electrical design and engineering concepts; Overall general knowledge of electrical material costs
