Sr. Project Designer

You will provide architectural design leadership across multiple projects and serve as a leader of creative authority with expert level knowledge, translating ideas into built environment solutions. You will provide team leadership, collaborating across roles and disciplines and championing project design cohesion. You will mentor and develop team members and be a voice in your office and region for design excellence.

Responsibilities

Provide architectural design leadership across multiple projects; Serve as creative authority translating ideas into built environment solutions; Conceptualize and develop design solutions throughout all project phases; Create innovative design concepts synthesizing client culture, goals, and aspirations; Translate shared design goals for team and client; Guide design integrity during construction administration; Direct preparation of client presentation materials; Lead design presentations when called upon; Collaborate with interior designers and subject matter experts on holistic design solutions; Collaborate with technical leaders and engineering disciplines for integration of building systems; Champion performance-based and sustainable design strategies; Work with building performance group on energy modeling; Apply approaches to large-scale complex projects and/or multiple projects; Mentor and grow emerging professionals; Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Bachelor or Master degree in Architecture required; Design portfolio of past and current design work with clear demonstration of significant personal contribution to project conceptualization and detailed development, containing 3 or more fully constructed building designs; Minimum 12 years of related professional experience; Knowledge of building codes and requirements; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Technical knowledge of exterior and interior materials and building assemblies; Command of Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office required; Experience with digital media creation and editing in Adobe Creative Cloud applications required

Nice to have

Bachelor or Master degree in Architecture from an accredited program; Architectural Registration in the United States; LEED accreditation; Additional experience in 3D modeling, rendering, computational design, immersive technologies, and AI image generation
