What we are looking for

An experienced engineer who is passionate about building enterprise-grade systems.

You are passionate about new technologies and ready to push the boundaries of what is achievable. You are enthusiastic about working with the latest technologies and/or developing large-scale server-side technologies for collaboration platforms supporting rich conversational experiences.

You must have a solid understanding of building performant, scalable user interfaces and servers with large-scale data, an obsession with design aesthetics, and engineering excellence.

Responsibilities

Build highly interactive applications that can scale with application complexity; Create tools, libraries, and frameworks for other developers to build upon; Apply new technology and innovation to improve platform functionality; Write high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (code reviews, unit testing, etc.); Collaborate with product owners to understand requirements and own the code from design to delivery; Design software that is simple to use, allowing customers to extend and customize functionality to meet their specific needs; Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while enhancing the existing product suite; Mentor colleagues and promote knowledge-sharing

Requirements

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline with 5+ years of software industry experience for bachelor's; Significant experience designing and implementing highly interactive and high-volume applications; Expertise in backend technologies:; Java, JUnit, REST, JSON; Relational databases, SQL, and frameworks like Spring and Hibernate; Frontend technologies, with solid JavaScript experience; Competence in design, usability, and scalability; Python experience is preferred; Strong written and verbal communication

Nice to have

Hands-on DevOps experience, including CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar); Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes); Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP); Hands-on experience with microservices architecture; Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, or similar)
