Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including work surfaces, equipment, and floors, in accordance with health and safety regulations; Wash, sanitize, and properly store kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishware; Manage kitchen waste disposal and recycling procedures in compliance with facility standards; Perform routine maintenance checks on kitchen equipment and report any issues to management; Assist with food preparation areas and ensure proper organization of kitchen supplies and inventory; Support kitchen staff by maintaining an organized and efficient work environment; Adhere to all food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe working environment; Respond promptly to requests from kitchen and dining service staff; Maintain personal hygiene and wear appropriate protective equipment at all times; Contribute to a positive team environment and support operational excellence

Requirements

Experience in kitchen sanitation, dishwashing, or food service support; Knowledge of food safety and hygiene protocols and health code regulations; Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly; Physical capability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment; Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team; Reliable attendance and punctuality; Adhere to all facility safety standards and procedures; Experience with commercial kitchen equipment and machinery; Previous experience in a high-volume food service operation
