Store Manager

The Store Manager is responsible for the sales, profitability, appearance, and overall operations of the store. The position objectives are to show consistent sales growth, ensure store exemplifies the proper O’Reilly image, operates as a profit center, and follows policies and procedures to ensure the store is operating as economically and efficiently as possible.

Responsibilities

Maximizing sales by directing team members; Soliciting orders and selling company products; Maintaining customer base and increasing sales volume; Communicating with Territory Sales Manager; Supervising store team members; Recruiting, testing, hiring, evaluating, promoting, disciplining, and discharging team members; Developing and posting work schedules; Reviewing team member timecards; Ensuring team members complete training; Establishing pricing levels for professional customers; Monitoring price overrides and price matches; Ensuring store organization and policy compliance; Implementing planogram changes and merchandising plans; Providing inventory stock adjustment recaps; Handling store accounting functions; Monitoring charge accounts; Implementing loss prevention procedures; Ensuring store vehicle maintenance; Reporting property/building needs; Attending Annual Managers' Conference

Requirements

Sales Specialist Training; Assistant Manager Certification; Manager Development Program module; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Must be well organized with the ability to prioritize effectively and manage time efficiently; Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment, and systems

Nice to have

Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired); Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE certification
