Storeperson - Warehouse - Afternoon/Night Shift

About the Role: This is a permanent, full-time role in our Christchurch Distribution Centre, working the afternoon shift. It's well suited to an experienced warehouse hand who enjoys a steady routine, takes ownership of their work, and is comfortable keeping things running smoothly with minimal supervision later in the day. Hours: Monday – Thursday 2pm -11.30pm, Friday 2pm -6.30pm (40 paid hours a week).

Responsibilities

Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders; Receive, check, and put away incoming stock; Maintain inventory accuracy through stocktakes and cycle counts; Operate forklifts and gantry cranes; Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and safe; Support general warehouse duties as required

Requirements

Solid, hands-on warehouse, stores, or dispatch experience; A reliable, dependable approach and a strong work ethic; The ability to work independently, organise your time, and take initiative; A genuine health and safety mindset – you look out for yourself and your team; Confidence with manual handling and physically active work; Full NZ Class 1 driver licence

Nice to have

Forklift experience and licence (preferred); Gantry or overhead crane experience (preferred); Metals or steel industry background (an advantage)
