Strategic Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly analytical and business-minded Manager of Strategic Finance to serve as a key partner to the CFO and executive leadership team. This role is distinct from traditional FP&A functions; rather than focusing on retrospective reporting, the Manager will drive forward-looking analysis, capital allocation strategies, and long-term value creation. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between financial data and operational strategy, providing the quantitative framework necessary for high-stakes business decisions, including new market entries, product pricing strategies, and potential M&A activity.

Responsibilities

Own and refine the company's 3-5 year Corporate Financial Model; Spearhead business cases and ROI analyses for proposed strategic initiatives; Develop dynamic 'what-if' scenarios to stress-test business assumptions; Conduct deep-dive analyses into core performance metrics (LTV/CAC, Gross Margin, Churn, Retention); Partner with Sales and Product leadership to evaluate pricing models and revenue structures; Synthesize complex financial data into presentations for the Board of Directors and external investors; Support the CFO in evaluating inorganic growth opportunities, including M&A due diligence, valuation modeling, and post-merger integration planning; Serve as a financial advisor to department heads

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; 4–7 years of relevant experience, preferably in Investment Banking, Management Consulting, Private Equity, or a Strategic Finance role at a high-growth company; Expert-level proficiency in Excel with a proven ability to build complex, integrated 3-statement financial models from scratch; Experience navigating large datasets; Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; Strategic acumen; Ability to prioritize and manage multiple high-visibility projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have

MBA; Familiarity with SQL and Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, PowerBI); Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, GP) and planning tools
